Graduate & Special Programs Additional Funding
The Office of Graduate and Special Programs may have funds available to support students’ professional development while enrolled at Smith. If no funding is available for this purpose through the student’s own program, the student may request up to $300 (the maximum per student), which is awarded on a first-come/first-served basis until the fund has been depleted. Not all requests will be able to be funded fully or at all depending on the amount of the requests. Deadlines for the PD fund are October 15, February 15 and April 15.
Students are asked to check with the Graduate and Special Programs office prior to making their plans about what expenses can be covered. Students are required to pay their own expenses, then submit their receipts to Graduate and Special Programs for reimbursement.
