Dining & Menus

Smith College Dining Services is committed to providing outstanding customer service and the highest quality food to all students and guests. We embrace Smith’s traditions while keeping current with global dining trends. We support our community by providing flexibility and variety, accommodating dietary requirements, and sourcing food from local farms and businesses. We strive to reduce food waste and use resources with sustainability in mind.
On the Menu
Whether you’re perusing brunch options or scoping out a specific dining hall’s offerings, you can find them here quickly.

Dining Sustainably
Dining Services is committed to supporting sustainability with a focus on three key areas: local and sustainable foods; waste reduction through composting and recycling; and responsible use of resources through purchasing and operations.
Our local providers range from dairy farms to bakeries, and allow us to serve healthy, whole foods to our students while supporting businesses in our own community.
“You don’t have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces—just good food from fresh ingredients.”
Current Students
On-Campus Meal Plan
Our kitchens offer a variety of traditional buffets and grab and go, as well as pre-order options through the Grubhub app to allow students to meet their level of comfort. Students can download the app on their phone or other iOS or Android mobile device, and food will be cooked to order, with notifications sent when the food is ready for pick up. Hours and meal options are listed in the hours tab of our webpage. In addition to 4 board swipes per day used in the dining rooms or retail cafés (as a meal equivalency), students will receive $100 a year in Dining Dollars. If you don’t have an iOS or Android device, please reach out to Andy Cox to apply for a borrowed college device.
