Student Leadership & Cultural Organizations
Unity Presidents’ Council
Unity Presidents' Council (UPC) (est. 1990) consists of the student leaders who serve as chairs and co-chairs of the Unity organizations and is the governing body of the Unity organizations. The council meets weekly to hear concerns and address matters relevant to their members and organizations and strives to create a climate in Unity that embraces community building and encourages collaboration to achieve common goals as a united entity.
Unity Organizations
The cultural groups under the Unity umbrella serve as a vital network of support for their members. These organizations offer students who share a common identity, a space to connect, explore, and celebrate that identity while sharing everyday experiences - both uplifting and challenging. Unity organizations sponsor a wide range of events throughout the year, including fine arts forums, cultural and heritage celebrations, conferences, workshops, and more.
