Meet Your Pre-Law Adviser
You can make an appointment to meet with Smith’s pre-law adviser, Anna Silverstein, at any point in your process. This includes first-year and sophomore students who are planning their pre-law path. If you haven’t already had an appointment, we strongly encourage you to make an appointment when you are a year out from applying (two years out from when you plan to start law school), to make your LSAT study plan and go over the law school application timeline.
Applying to law school is one of the most daunting things I have ever done, and I had no idea where to even begin. But having Anna to guide me through the process made it exponentially easier.
Meet with Anna to:
- Decide if and when to apply
- Formulate your LSAT study plan
- Refine your list of schools
- Choose your recommendation letter writers
- Get feedback on your application essays
How to Make an Appointment
Make an appointment by visiting Handshake and selecting the “Pre-Law Advising” appointment type. You will be able to see all of Anna’s upcoming open appointments. Anna is available to meet in person, by Zoom, or via phone.
For personal statement reviews, please email Anna your draft three business days before the appointment as a Google Doc that has editing enabled.
Plan ahead: During the peak application season, Anna is often booking out four to six weeks. You can email Anna with your typical weekday availability if you want to be added to her cancellation list.
