  • Smith students have access to 53,000 alums in more than 130 countries and a network of over 600 companies recruiting virtually and on campus
  • Over 100,000 internships, jobs, volunteer opportunities and fellowships are posted annually in Handshake, Smith's online database of professional opportunities

  • More than 400 students per year receive Praxis grants of up to $4,500 to support unpaid internships taking place all over the world
  • 130+ students received funding through the Universal Conference Fund to attend academic and professional conferences in FY ’23. Conference funding had been doubled by the Lazarus Center this year in order to improve access and address rising travel costs

  • Smith has been a top producer of Fulbright Scholars for the past two decades. In 2023, eight students and one alum were awarded Fulbrights.
