Undergraduate Research

Centering STEM

These shared facilities offer unparalleled hands-on access for students, whether they are majoring in STEM or simply exploring these fields as part of their liberal arts education.

Center for Molecular Biology

Providing first-class support for molecular biology research, training, and education to all in the Smith community that are interested. 

Center for Microscopy and Imaging

Maintains and provides access to multiple light and electron microscopes, along with training in and access to experimental design, data acquisition, and data analysis.

Center for Mass Spectrometry

Provides access to a variety of equipment for preparative and analytical experimentation with biopolymers and small(er) organic molecules.
