Biography

Heather Johns oversees strategic communications and marketing for Smith College, guiding efforts to elevate the college’s visibility, reputation, and engagement with key audiences. Johns came to Smith in 2025 from Bucknell University, where she served as vice president for marketing and communications. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Elizabethtown College.
