What are you most looking forward to in this next chapter:
I’m excited to step into a new level of independence and unlock my new identity.

Looking ahead 10 years, what’s something you’d like to have achieved:
Professionally, I hope to have built a strong reputation and trust with my team. I also hope to have completed a graduate degree and made long lasting, positive changes to my organization. On the personal side, hopefully, become fluent in 4 languages and have traveled to places that have shaped my worldview in meaningful ways. I also want to stay connected to my creative sides, continuing my passion for music and still be an engaged member of the creative community. I’ll probably be a famous DJ or a famous amateur pianist, who knows.
Career advice for Smithies:
Smithies can do anything! If there’s something you want to pursue, don’t wait, start now! Why are you taking the music class and why would Smith pay for it? I applied for, and was awarded, a Susan Rose Internship Grant to be able to attend this music production course in New York City. I was interested in taking this class to continue my studies in MUS345 [Intro to Electro-Acoustic Music]. This course will allow me to generate my own soundtrack and provide me with systematic training and the network to become an amateur music producer. I’m a passionate fan of K-pop, and for my final project, I hope to be able to create remixes of my favorite K-pop songs. I was one of 12 students to receive Susan Rose Internship Grants from the Smith College Music Department to participate in various internships, festivals, and programs during summer 2025.
