Announcements

We are excited to announce the appointment of René C. Heavlow AC ’08 as the Ann Kaplan ’67 Director of the Conway Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. René has been an integral part of the Smith community since 2000. As Director of Operations and Special Programs, René has been instrumental in generating and developing flagship innovation and financial education programming, including the Co-Innovate for Change Challenge and Money Mentors.

The Collaborative Innovation partners—Conway Center, Design Thinking Initiative, Reflective Practices, and Wurtele Center for Leadership—share a mission to help students develop agency, take purposeful action, and reflect on their journey.
