Biography
Nicholas Horton's fields of interest include the development of models for the analysis of longitudinal studies with incomplete observations and the role of computation in statistical and data science education.
Horton is the co-author of Modern Data Science with R (Chapman and Hall) and SAS and R: Data Management, Statistical Analysis, and Graphics (Chapman and Hall, second edition). He received the Founders Award from the American Statistical Association and the Waller Award for innovation in the teaching of introductory statistics. He is a fellow of the American Statistical Association and serves on several working groups and committees with the National Academy of Sciences.
