On Saturday, Oct. 24, more than 500 Smithies and their guests will return to Northampton for the second annual Come Home to Smith event. Registration is still open and alums are encouraged to sign up and join their fellow Smithies on campus.
The weekend gives alums the opportunity to reunite with old friends, attend various tours and presentations—including a special program by Smith College President Sarah Willie-LeBreton—and share what they’ve been up to after graduation.
The day will also feature Smith VOICES—a gathering for alums to share their experiences, perspectives, and ideas regarding volunteering with Smith. The event will include a panel, small-group sessions, student performances, and remarks from President Willie-LeBreton.
“We’re delighted to welcome so many alums back for a beautiful fall day on campus [to] enjoy all the culture, community, and spirit that Smith has to offer,” says Amanda Rivera López, associate vice president for alumnae relations and executive director for the Alumnae Association of Smith College. “It was really enriching last year and we’re excited to make this an annual tradition.”
