Designer Agnes Baddoo ’85 is making waves with her high-end leather goods—handbags, belts, and other accessories—which are handcrafted in Los Angeles.

Her “sacs” have been featured in Oprah Daily and Martha Stewart Living and InStyle magazines, among others. Baddoo’s new collection incorporates spring’s hottest colors—vibrant yellow, an eye-catching red—into an array of items including crossbody bags ($470–$525), sandals ($315), and iPhone holders ($85). In a recent interview, the stylish Thelma Golden ’87, director and chief curator of The Studio Museum in Harlem, christened the bags “so usable” and said she has an Agnes Baddoo tote on her wish list. Don’t we all!
