Wurtele Wednesdays: (Re)visioning the Future of Human Rights

Wednesday, October 7, 2026 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Location:
Kathleen McCartney Hall 101
For:
Students

At our first workshop-style Wurtele Wednesday, we invite you to imagine a better world 50 years from now. In 2076, how might we conceive of human rights? Bring your creativity and curiosity to explore whether and how to update the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We’ll create a gallery of scenes in a new, collaborative picture of human rights. Participants in all “Human Rights: Present and Future” programs will be entered into a $25 raffle, with three winners announced on December 10, Human Rights Day.
