Privacy has become a more pressing issue in the digital age. Librarians have always valued privacy as a core issue so it is a natural fit for the libraries to be at the center of privacy literacy. Talking to our community about what personal data is being collected by whom and how to advocate for one's own privacy across a range of topics is fast becoming a required basic life skill. To that end, this proposal lays out a year-long project.  Why Privacy Still Matters will be the first of our proposed five-part, year-long series.
