Feedback from peers and students’ reflection on their own writing have multiple benefits: they help students improve as writers; promote their agency, metacognition, and deep learning; and lighten our load in responding to student writing. In this workshop we’ll discuss strategies for implementing peer review and self-assessment in courses in any discipline and at any level.
