John Harvard: "My Jane Austen Breakup Album"

Professor Havard will read from his forthcoming book, My Jane Austen Breakup Album. A hybrid of memoir and criticism, the book uses a year of personal upheaval to explore what Austen's novels have to say about unlikely intimacies, enduring relationships, and learning to pay attention to our feelings—while asking what it means to become attached to the words of an author (and even to live one's life through literature).
